I really hate it when people do not pay attention to what one says either through text, call, letter or whatever form of communication. This becomes the cause of miscommunication.
One might say that I am too particular or overdramatic about the matter. Well, I wouldn't be if I haven't experienced it. In fact, it happened to me many times. Moreover, if people wil continue this kind of attitude of not paying attention, they might cause a major disaster.
I am not only saying this because I am a communications major, but also because, as a part of a society, I could see that many people are talking and only few are listening. We all just think about ourselves all the time and this reflects on the way we communicate with other people.
I think that to make the world a better place, and to cultivate our relationships with one another, we should take time to pay attention.
